January Newsletter 2025

Welcome to the latest issue of Ringing Round Leicestershire.

The start of the year is often a time to look back over the past twelve months, and to look forward to the next year. We may be in the depths of winter, but thankfully the darkest nights are now behind us and we can look forward to the coming of Spring.

The dark nights and wintry weather haven’t stopped all you intrepid ringers from going out and enjoying our hobby. This issue sees updates from a couple of towers, news of outreach into our local communities, a fantastic array of ringing firsts, celebrations of milestones and our annual quarter peal roundup. We also have articles looking forward: what does the future hold for ringing in our County?
