We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in a grant of £77,293 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund towards our Bells Project.

This, together with the grant from the Guild, and other fundraising, means that we have been able to place our order with the Bellfoundry. We await a start date, but anticipate the removal of the bells will commence in early March 2025.
A Summary of the Project is as follows:
- Augmenting the ring to 6 using a suitable second hand bell (from St Anne’s on the Sea)
- Repainting the Frame
- All new fixtures and fittings
- Installing a Rope guide in the ringing chamber.
- Installation of 2 training bells in the clock chamber, sensors on all bells, connected to at least 2 computers to aid silent practices (and potentially the ability to have practices on 8)
- The church handbells are also being refurbished, and made into a tune ringing set (2 octaves), and a change ringing set
The project also includes open days, visits to the Bellfoundry, and other community-related promotional activities
