Guild Handbells.
Leicester Cathedral ringer Rupert Clarke has kindly donated his twelve handbells to the Guild. Sadly, due to his health, Rupert is no longer able to use the bells and he and his wife Jean thought that Leicester DG members could benefit from them for the forseeable future. The bells are in a case and will be kept in the belfry at Leicester Cathedral. They will be available to any guild member subject to them being signed out and the bells are insured by the Leicester DG. Any queries can be sent to me at sue.mason4@btinternet.com

A letter from Tilton
The following letter was sent to the Guild from Tilton, where they recently received a grant from the Guild Bell Restoration Fund:
Dear Margie,
I am writing to inform you officially that the work on our Tower Bell frame and refurbishment of the bells and fittings have been completed. We would like to pass on our thanks for your generosity of a £5000 grant.
We have been supported by the village throughout the fundraising process and everyone seems happy with the reinstated bells and we have received many comments on the sounds of the ringing.
Without the help of the guild we would still have been raising funds. The PCC, Bell Ringing Band and the village thank you.
I have attached a couple of photographs for your information.
Again thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Kathryn Letts and Carol Gunfield
