This year’s Ringing World National Youth Contest is being held in York on 8th July. The Foundry Foxes are entering a team, and we wish them good luck!

Harby Bell Fundraiser – “Beer, Bangers & Bells”.

On 22 & 23 September,  Harby Church are hosting a (second) beer festival in the church.  Last year was a great social event, with at least 12 real ales, and plenty of activities for all the family (Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, and a street market).  We thought it would be a good opportunity to promote this more widely, in conjunction with a bellringing open practice to raise some funds for our bell restoration project.

Therefore all are welcome to come and ring at Harby on Saturday 23rd September from 10:30am – 12 noon, prior to the afternoon session of the beer festival. I am led to believe that Cider and Gin & Tonic will also be available..

Final plans for the event are yet to be made, but will be circulated in due course.
