This is a new feature that I’m hoping to include each month in the newsletter. As the education committee has been so good at arranging courses to teach the teachers, all under the auspices of the Association of Ringing Teachers, we will be hopefully getting a good collection of learners who are going through the Learn the Ropes training scheme.

As a way of showing our congratulations to those learners, and to help encourage them in their ringing careers, iI will be showcasing their achievements on this page.

Thurcaston

Thurcaston currently has a strong band of youngsters. Peter Hunt and Tim Holland are already ART members and have been using the Learn the Ropes Scheme to teach their learners.

Desford

Mark and Rebecca Banner went on the ART module 1 course in October, and are now using the Learn the Ropes schemes with their existing learners. An assessment showed they had passed their level 1, and are working well towards level 2.
