October Newsletter 2022

My first newsletter as editor back in July was filled with joyous ringing to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Now, just three months later, we have been ringing In Memoriam at her passing. In a few more months we will be ringing to proclaim the crowning of Charles III.

Our hobby of bellringing is much more than just us as individuals going down to our local church and pulling on a rope for fun. We are part of a community both within our towers, and within our villages, towns and cities.

This edition of the newsletter shows us as we meet together as ringers, with reports on local outings, and gatherings in the wider ringing world; and how we interact with the people who live around our towers, hearing of how ringers have been involved in their local communities.

Its nice to have a lot of articles to share with you, and not just about Guild events, but at the local tower level – keep them coming in!
