Congratulations to Rebecca Odames on winning the 2023 Alan Jacques Award which was presented at the Guild AGM in October.

This award is for a person who puts the most into ringing and Rebecca is certainly well qualified for that, she has taught many new ringers. She is a key member of ART and helps with the interface from LDG into ART, she organises many courses with the R&E committee and is the Leicester District Secretary. Rebecca had two separate nominations for this award and thoroughly deserves it.

We will be sending notes out looking for nominations for the 2024 award so if you know anyone who deserves this award fill out a form! It will take about 5 minutes to do that so not as onerous as you might think
