From the Districts

Loughborough District

Monthly practices in Loughborough district continue to be well attended, thank you to all who have attended and are making loughborough district practices so successful.

So far we have had practices in Loughborough (All Saints), Belton, Whitwick, Packington, Ashby and Hugglescote

In the coming months we have planned practices at
Wymeswold – 28.10.25
Hathern – 27.11.25
Oaks in Charnwood – 15.12.25 (includes AGM for loughborough district)

It has become a bit of a cake feast too and each tower is outdoing themselves in the cake and treat department – again Thank you.

Thank you if you have attended, but if you have not then please come along and join us at a practice.

Melton District

We’ve had a good turn out at this quarters meetings, July was at Saltby with everything from rounds to Grandsire Caters being rung, August was at Ab Kettleby and September was at Branston where there were 16 members attending despite the clashes with LDG course and Framland Society 150th anniversary celebrations over the weekend.

The Harby bells have arrived back at the church and have had a successful trial ring, we’re looking forward to the rest of the simulators and dumb bells being installed to make it a training centre for the area…..watch out for a district meeting there early next year if you want to have a ring .

We’re pleased to have had 5 new members join us this quarter and would like to encourage all of our new members to come along to the District meeting on the 3rd Saturday each month where the ringing masters cater for all levels!
