ART Teacher Training Courses

27th April and 22nd June

With the success of last year’s ART Module 1 teaching courses and subsequent Module 2 course, Moira Johnson will be running two further Module 2 courses at Ticknall in Derbyshire on 27th April and 22nd June. This module would be useful for anyone who has been on the Mod 1 course, as it’s full of tips and exercises for teaching new ringers who are progressing from rounds to methods. However, you don’t need to have attended the Mod 1 course, to attend it.

A further Module 1 course will be held at Hathern in Leicestershire, the date of this is still to be confirmed.

Ringing up and Down Courses

11th May and 25th May

The LDG – E&R Committee, is running two ‘Ringing Up & Down’ day courses. The first one will be on the 11th May between 9.00-3.30pm at Knighton in Leicester. A second course will be run on 25th May 10am-12noon and 1.30pm-3.30pm at Twyford in the Melton Mowbray District. If you would like to attend either course, please let us know by email at: Education@leicesterdg.org.uk A course fee of £15 is required, towards the cost of the buildings heating and other facilities. Tea and coffee is included.

This course is suitable for:
1) People who have never rang up or down before
2) People who have rang up and down, but wish to improve their technique
3) People who want to improve their confidence when ringing up and down
