July Newsletter 2023

Welcome to the latest issue of the Leicester Guild Newsletter.

As with my first newsletter as editor a year ago, the last couple of months have seen an uptick in ringing performances, due to a Royal Occasion – this time for the coronation of His Majesty King Charles. Bellboard shows 135 performances listed in relation to the coronation. The Guild has also, along with the rest of the country, had an increase in the number of new recruits due to publicity for the coronation ringing – hopefully these new ringers are still enjoying it, and will continue in their new hobby for years to come. Read the articles about the new ringers at Saltby and Harby to get an idea of how our new recruits are getting on.
